Ludlow Town Council has announced the death of former Mayor and Town Councillor Marie Glaze.
Marie served Ludlow for 15 years as a Town Councillor. She was elected Mayor of Ludlow in 2007 and served in that role for one year.
Community service
During her mayoral year, Marie was a familiar presence at community events throughout Ludlow. She supported local organisations and represented the town with enthusiasm.
Ludlow Town Council described her as a committed and passionate advocate for the town. Through her years of public service, Marie made a lasting contribution to Ludlow.
The council has extended its condolences to Marie's family and friends.
