Ludlow Town Council is inviting residents to contribute handmade poppies for an expanded Remembrance display this year. The Community Poppy Waterfall, which proved popular in previous years, will return on 2 November at The Georgian House behind the Peace Memorial.
Following the success of the original waterfall installation, the council is asking the community to create crocheted or knitted poppies measuring at least 5 inches. These will be added to the railings outside The Georgian House to complement the main display.
How to take part
Completed poppies can be dropped off at The Guildhall by Thursday 29 October. There is no charge to contribute, and residents, schools, uniformed groups and volunteers are all encouraged to participate.
The expanded tribute will create a fuller installation, reflecting Ludlow's commitment to remembrance.
