Ludlow Town Council is hosting free Halloween activities across two venues this October, combining a treasure hunt at Ludlow Market with themed crafts and puzzles at Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross.
Ludlow Market Halloween Trail
From 29 to 31 October, the free Ludlow Market Halloween Trail invites children and families to find six spooky surprises hidden around the stalls. Trail sheets can be collected from the Silver Grill, participating traders, or the Guildhall, Mill Street.
Young explorers solve clues, search the market, and collect stamps at each discovery. Completed trail sheets can be posted in the Halloween collection box at the Silver Grill (Friday and Saturday) or dropped at the Guildhall. All entries go into a prize draw.
Traders are invited to dress up and decorate their stalls. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Trader and Best Dressed Stall.
Ludlow Museum Activities and Free Entry Sunday
Ludlow Museum at the Buttercross runs Halloween-themed activities for younger visitors from 23 October to 1 November, featuring spooky crafts, puzzles, and seasonal activities.
Sunday 1 November marks the museum's first Free Entry Sunday, launching a six-month trial of free Sunday opening.
